LOOK: 'Palaboy' has bundles of cash
MANILA - A homeless woman in Barangay Bagumbayan, Taguig garnered interest after she turned out to be carrying lots of cash in local and foreign currency.
Initial DZMM reports said a local health worker, Remedios Tenorio, saw and asked the woman, identified as Carmelita Bernasor, where she was going.
When she gave conflicting answers, barangay workers brought the woman to the barangay hall so she could get cleaned up.
The report said Bernasor was urged to get a bath and clean up.
Barangay workers then searched her bag, which was placed on a stroller, to look for a change of clothes.
The workers then found bundles of cash and coins, 2 cellphones, lighters and some jewelry inside a pillow case.
The report said the cash was in separate bundles and in different denominations, from 20-peso to 100-peso bills.
There was also some foreign currency inside the pillow case.
Barangay workers counted the money, which totaled P69,000.
An ID found on her belongings showed that she is a resident of Malibay, Pasay.
Workers tried to contact a relative whose number was indicated on the ID, but the number could not be contacted.
In an interview, Bernasor said she used to live in Malibay but had to move because her house was torn down.
She also told radio dzMM that she no longer has any relatives.
Asked where she got the money, she said: "Binuksan ko yung aking alkansya sa lata. Barya po, limang piso tapos sampung piso."
"Nagtinda tinda po ako ng balut, sotdrinks, merienda..."
DZMM correspondent Henry Atuelan, however, said Bernasor gave conflicting statements, saying she used to sell coconuts.
A representative of Taguig City Hall said the woman will be turned over to the local social welfare office. Report by Henry Atuelan, Radio DZMM

Whether you Believe it or Not!! Ebola Victim Rises From The Dead In Africa Fear Of Zombie Apocalypse!!
SHOCK VIDEO: Man Thought To Be Dead From Ebola Wakes Up
A burial team in Monrovia, Liberia was sent to remove the body of man thought to have died from Ebola. As the team was wrapping the body, somebody noticed his arm was moving. The team flagged down and ambulance and moved him to it, where might be able to get treatment.
(ABC) By DR. RICHARD BESSER via Good Morning America
MONROVIA, Liberia -- Amid the deadliest Ebola outbreak in history, it's easier to get help if you are dead than if you are alive.
My producer and I were driving back from an assignment in Monrovia, where we filmed this morning's "Good Morning America" segment, when we saw a burial team working along the roadway surrounded by crowds of angry locals.
A community leader said they had been trying to get help for the dead man for days, but no ambulance ever came. When the man died, a burial team came in an hour.
We watched as the burial team suited up and approached the body lying against a wall. They sprayed it down with bleach and moved it to a black, plastic sheet and began to wrap it up.
"We couldn't get him help when he was alive," a community leader told me. "They only come when you die."
Just then, the dead man moved his arm -- just a little, but clearly a sign of life.
"He's alive," someone yelled.
The burial team unwrapped him and put him back on the ground. The man was alive but looked like he would only last a few more hours.
About ten minutes later, an ambulance pulled up and a separate team of health workers loaded him into the back.
The crowd went wild cheering.

Why Manny in the PBA is symbolic of what's wrong with our country
In this Oct. 19, 2014 photo released by Team Pacquiao, Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao, the playing-coach of KIA …
So the National Fist is now a player in the country's top hoops league. Some might celebrate it, but not me. In my humble opinion, Manny Pacquiao as professional hoops player is a bad idea, and a reflection of the twisted mindset that pervades our society.
Of course, I am a Manny Pacquiao fan, just like most Filipinos. As a boxer, his title-winning odyssey through eight different weight classes was enthralling, and makes all Filipinos justifiably proud.
There is another thing about Pacquiao that I appreciate. He is one of the only people in the country holding professional pool tournaments with big purses. Just last month he held a singles 10 ball event followed by a doubles tournament, in General Santos City that attracted the best players in the world. Another one will take place in December.
I tip my hat to Pacquiao for helping out a sport that is in the doldrums. He should continue this work.
But joining Kia in the PBA? I think he should have never made this move, but sadly, it's indicative of the warped priorities and mentality prevalent in Philippine culture. Let me enumerate the reasons why Manny shouldn't be lacing it up in the PBA and why it's sadly reflective of the flaws in our society.
It sends a poor message that connections and star power are the key to success, not skill or hard work.
The Philippines is not a meritocracy. Unlevel playing fields exist in business, education, government, and now, sport.
There are hundreds, thousands even, of hardworking young basketball players who have been doing drills, busting their butts in practice, and giving their all in games.
All over the Philippines there are also tons of dedicated coaches who stay up all night watching film, take time to draw up plays, counsel their wards, and hone their craft.
These players slave for years to have a shot at the Big Show, the PBA. Only the very best, the cream of the crop, make it.
Until Manny came along.
What Pacquiao has done is basically using his fame, wealth, connections, and star value to jump the line and get ahead of all of these players and coaches who have dedicated their lives to the game. I wonder what all those players undrafted by the PBA feel about him making it while they miss out.
In the Philippines we have government officials giving jobs to relatives and cronies regardless of their competence or experience. Too often a job goes to someone based on “palakasan” rather than qualifications. For me, Manny's foray into professional basketball is no different.
It shows a lack of long-term thinking.
Filipinos have many admirable qualities, but planning ahead isn't one of them. We are reminded of that every rush hour, especially when it rains.
Sure, seeing Manny Pacquiao dribbling around the giants of the PBA will be neat. But for only a while. Once he starts getting his shots swatted away and begins turning over the ball, it will get real old, real fast.
But of course Kia cannot seem to see that far ahead.
A better solution would be to have a PBA all-star game with some celebrities or maybe old-timers. Then Pacquiao could have played once, shown some moves, and be done with playing in the PBA. Instead we have the conference-long farce we must endure now.
It perpetuates an unhealthy obsession with celebrity.
In the Philippines we can't seem to get enough of our showbiz heroes and celebrity icons. For sure the same thing happens in other countries, but the Philippines may be more celebrity-addled than most.
In my opinion we love to put our celebs on impossibly high pedestals, only for them to inevitably tumble down.
This also works both ways. Our adulation can make these celebrities swell-headed. They believe their own hype and think they can do anything.
Pacman is a brilliant boxer. That led him to run for congress, where his anti-Reproductive Health Bill stance rankled many (including myself), and his unremarkable attendance record has been noted.
Once again he bites off more than he can chew, with a PBA campaign that is doomed to fail. But maybe we set him up for it by lionizing him.
It's consistent with our habit of taking something nice and sort of ruining it.
Filipinos cannot seem to take care of public property and common areas. In no time, any new public edifice, park, project, sign, waiting shed, you name it, looks shabby, or at worst, is outright vandalized.
For me this is taking place with the PBA, thanks to Manny's participation as player-coach.
The PBA is red-hot. The league, which is celebrating its fourth decade, has overcome difficulties in the past to become extremely popular, sustainable, lucrative, and exciting. I give the PBA huge credit for Gilas Pilipinas' runner-up finish in last year's FIBA Asia tournament and this year's overachieving in Spain.
The league doesn't need publicity stunts to be more popular. And yet it has agreed to one with Manny Pacquiao. In my opinion the league has been cheapened or sullied somewhat.
After FIBA Asia and the World Cup I could say the PBA is one of Asia's top hoops leagues, if not THE premier basketball club competition in Asia. But the association isn't acting that way in allowing a rich, well-connected amateur to stroll in and play even though he is spectacularly unqualified.
It bespeaks of a me-first attitude that ignores the rest of the community.
Filipinos like to throw their trash all over the place. For the one dumping, it's easy and convenient. But he refuses to consider the effect it has on the environment shared by all.
For me, Pacquiao's foray into the PBA is of the same vein. Apparently it's always been Manny's dream to be a pro baller. This is what he has wanted ever since. So know that he has a path to the PBA, he is taking it.
But is he considering how it affects everything else? The credibility of the league? How other players and coaches will see it? Apparently no. What matters most is his dream, everything else takes a back seat.
My colleague Jude Roque warned Manny not to take this plunge into pro hoops. The caution went unheeded, and here we are.
Kia has some great cars. The new Sorento is gorgeous, the Optima and Carens look terrific, and I even admire their Picanto and Rio subcompacts.
But cheer for their PBA team? Since they allowed Manny to be a part of their squad, not a chance.

No Matter How Many Times She Tries, Little Girl Can’t Get Nursery Rhyme Right (Video)
But learning a particular song isn’t always the easiest, especially if you’ve already got an idea of what it should sound like.
That’s what happened to Lola, the little girl in this video. She’s supposed to be singing along to the nursery rhyme “Going To The Zoo,” but she seems to have an idea of what the lyrics should be, and her version is a bit off.
Every time her dad, who is off-camera, tries to correct her, she seems to understand. But, each time she sings it, she makes the same mistake.
It’s so cute, and her excitement when she sings the song — even though her lyrics are wrong — is almost too adorable to handle (not sure if her frustrated dad would agree).
Listen to her perfect rendition of the popular rhyme up top.
Woman Raped 30 Times A Morning In ISIS Brothel Begs West To Bomb Them
Kurdish fighters reported they received a phone call from a female hostage of the Islamic State last week, begging for the Western forces to bomb the facility in which she is imprisoned.
The woman is one of the thousands of Yazidis made into sex slaves by the militant group, which cites the Quran as justification for such treatment.
The Islamic State explains this in the latest issue of its online magazine, Dabiq.
It says,
The piece goes on to claim that sex slaves are meant to prevent militants from losing focus due to the allure of other women, according to the Huffington Post.
These women are also used by the group to attract new recruits and maintain their allegiance by offering them sex whenever they desire.
The Kurdish fighters relayed the Yazidi woman’s story to British-based activists. According to them, she said her life has become so torturous, she is considering committing suicide like other Yazidis have done, and that her only hope is for a bomb to soon strike the area.
She’s also reported as saying,
British Kurds sought to raise awareness for these atrocities by putting them on full display in a staged sex slave auction in Westminster.
The man pretending to be an auctioneer shouted prices and advertised virginity while the chained actresses screamed in agony.

Female Kurdish Hero Who Killed ISIS Members Was Reportedly Beheaded
The Kurdish woman reported to have single-handedly killed over 100 members of the Islamic State is said to have been killed.
Currently circulating on Twitter is a photo claiming to show the beheading of the war hero known only as Rehana, Daily Mail reports.
The photo features a member of the Islamic State holding a severed head, though it has not been confirmed to be Rehana’s.
Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the group to have recently beheaded three female and four male Kurdish fighters, the identities of whom are not known.
Rehana’s 100 killings, first reported in a Tweet from a journalist earlier this month, remain unconfirmed as well.
They are said to have taken place while Syrian Kurds battled militants for control of the town of Kobane, located on the border of Syria and Turkey.
More than 10,000 women can be counted among the Kurdish Women’s Protection Unit (YPJ), an all-female force formed last April.
A 28-year-old member said she left her teaching job because she couldn’t stay behind while her friends gave their lives for her survival.
Some have estimated one in every three Kurds fighting in Syria to be a woman.
The very presence of YPJ is a slap in the face to the Islamic State, which believes that a woman should not be allowed to leave the house unless accompanied by her husband.
Over 800 people have been killed in the battles for Kobane, roughly 500 of whom are members of the Islamic State killed by ground battle or US airstrikes.

Rushed into Sex and the Relationship
A Cornell University study suggests that rushing into a relationship doesn’t do most couples many favors. Researchers found a positive correlation between waiting a month to have sex and long-term relationship success.

Christ – which shows that Jesus was not crucified, nor was he the son of God, but a Prophet. The book also calls Apostle Paul “The Impostor”. The book also claims that Jesus ascended to heaven alive, and that Judas Iscariot was crucified in his place.
A report by The National Turk says that the Bible was seized from a gang of smugglers in a Mediterranean-area operation. The report states the gang was charged with smuggling antiquities, illegal excavations, and the possession of explosives. The books itself is valued as high as 40 Million Turkish Liras (approx. 28 mil. Dollars). Man, where is the Thieves Guild, when you need them?
Authenticity
According to reports, experts and religious authorities in Tehram insist that the book is original. The book itself is written with gold lettering, onto loosely-tied leather in Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ. The text maintains a vision similar to Islam, contradicting the New Testament’s teachings of Christianity. Jesus also foresees the coming of the Prophet Muhammad, who would found Islam 700 years later.
It is believed that, during the Council of Nicea, the Catholic Church hand-picked the gospels that form the Bible as we know it today; omitting the Gospel of Barnabas (among many others) in favor of the four canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Many biblical texts have begun to surface over time, including those of the Dead Sea and Gnostic Gospels; but this book especially, seems to worry the Vatican.
The Catholic Church wants in
What does this mean to Christian-derived religions and their followers? Quite a tight spot. The Vatican has asked Turkish authorities to let them examine the contents of the book within the Church. Now that the book has been found, will they come to accept the it and its evidence? Will they deny it altogether? Call it a “Muslim lie”, as did the “Truth” Magazine, in 2000?
To many, this book is a beacon of hope, that believers soon realize that the object of their adoration is arbitrary; and that all text, especially religious text, is subject to interpretation.
What does this mean to atheists/agnostics/secular thinkers? Is the text real? Fake? Does it matter? Hopefully, this news inspires the religious to ask questions, instead of pointing fingers or believing anything blindly.
Please, don’t go poking fun or tossing around the “I told you so!”s. The biggest danger of faith is when people believe what they want to believe, defending against any and all evidence; especially when that evidence revolutionizes their foundation from the ground up. And the biggest culprit to that danger is the ego trap: rejecting/criticizing others, for being unlike you.
For centuries, the “defense” of blind faith has driven nations to war, violence, discrimination, slavery and to become the society of automatons that we are today; and for just as long, it has been justified with lies. If you know better, act like it.
