The woman is one of the thousands of Yazidis made into sex slaves by the militant group, which cites the Quran as justification for such treatment.
The Islamic State explains this in the latest issue of its online magazine, Dabiq.
It says,
The piece goes on to claim that sex slaves are meant to prevent militants from losing focus due to the allure of other women, according to the Huffington Post.
These women are also used by the group to attract new recruits and maintain their allegiance by offering them sex whenever they desire.
The Kurdish fighters relayed the Yazidi woman’s story to British-based activists. According to them, she said her life has become so torturous, she is considering committing suicide like other Yazidis have done, and that her only hope is for a bomb to soon strike the area.
She’s also reported as saying,
